Priority Registration

Spring, Spring I, Spring II and May Mini Priority Registration starts October 30, 2023. All students will be able to register beginning November 1, 2023 at 8 a.m.

Priority Registration is based on earned credit hours at Brazosport College, not including the current semester. You can view your earned Brazosport College credits online through your myBC account. Please reference the Spring, Spring I, Spring II and May Mini Registration Schedule below.

Have you attended within the last year? 

Students that have attended Brazosport College within the last year, have no outstanding holds, and are self advised may register for courses through myBC or on-campus with an enrollment specialist.

If your address has changed, please notify the Office of Admissions and Registrar in writing by completing a Biographical Data Form.

Has it been more than a year since you've attended?

Students that have not attended Brazosport College within the last year must follow the steps listed below in order to be readmitted to the college.

Step 1: Apply for Re-Admission

Submit an application the Re-Admission Application to activate your Brazosport College Student Account as far in advance of registration as possible.

Please allow the Admissions Office 2 Business Days to receive and process your application. Once processed, you'll receive your BC ID, Username, and PIN Number to log into myBC. myBC is a student portal that allows you to add courses, check your financial aid status, pay for courses, and  more.

Step 2: Apply for Financial Aid and Scholarships

Apply for Financial Aid

Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at www.fafsa.gov. (School Code: 007287)

Submit all financial aid requirements by the priority deadline to make sure your award is processed in time to pay for classes. To view financial aid deadlines, visit the financial aid website or the college events calendar.

Interested in becoming a student worker?
Students interested in becoming a student worker must complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Learn more about these unique employment opportunities at the Career and Guidance Center.

Apply for Scholarships

Did you know not all scholarships are based on income? Even if you don’t meet the criteria for federal aid, Brazosport College may have a scholarship for you. Apply at www.brazosport.edu/financialaid.

Step 3: Submit Official Transcripts

Brazosport College requires official documents for the highest level of education completed. If you have attended another college/university since you last enrolled at Brazosport College, you will need to submit updated official transcripts.

College Transfers

We accept official transcripts via:

  • SPEEDE (electronic transcript system)
  • Parchment (electronic or mailed transcript system)
  • Escript/Credential Solutions (electronic or mailed transcript system)
  • Mail-in a Sealed Envelope
  • Hand Carried in a Sealed Envelope

High School Graduates

If you are a former dual credit student and did not submit your official high school transcript after graduation, submit your official high school transcript with a graduation date. We accept official transcripts via:

  • TREX electronic transcript system
  • Mail-in a Sealed Envelope
  • Hand Carried in a Sealed Envelope

Step 4: Submit Proof of Bacterial Meningitis Vaccination

Students Under the Age of 22

There is Bacterial Meningitis Vaccination requirement that applies to anyone under the age of 22 attending classes on the Brazosport College campus.

Students Over the Age of 22

Students who are currently 22 years of age or older by the first day of the start of the semester in which you enroll are not required to provide the Bacterial Meningitis Vaccine.

Step 5: Submit Placement Test Scores

All degree seeking students are required to take the TSI placement test or meet an exemption.

Exemptions include:

  • Veterans 
  • Transfer Students
  • Degree Exempt
  • Certificate Level
  • Score exempt by SAT, ACT, or STAAR

The purpose of the examination is to assess a student's academic ability in order to correctly identify the correct course sequence for new students. The TSI Assessment will determine your entry-level for the subjects of reading, writing, and math.

Step 6: Get Advised & Register for Courses

Get Advised

To assist students in achieving their goals, counselors and academic advisors are available to help students with their degree plans. With a plan in place, students are more likely to achieve their goals.

Register for Courses

Register for classes online through myBC or on-campus with an enrollment specialist after the Admission's Office has cleared your student account and received all updated documents.

Step 7: Pay Tuition and Fees

Paying Your Tuition and Fees

Tuition and fees can be paid online through your myBC account or in person at the cashier’s office. Payment plans are available. Further information on how to set up a payment plan can be found on the Cashier's Office website.

You may pay with your financial aid award. If awarded, your authorized financial aid will be applied directly to your account balance. You are responsible for any remaining balance. For more information, visit www.brazosport.edu/financialaid

Be sure to pay tuition by the payment deadline or you will be dropped from classes.

Step 8: Get Prepared for Class

Textbooks

Visit the BC Bookstore to purchase or rent textbooks. *Hours of operation may vary based on each semester. For more information, call 979-230-3410 or visit www.brazosportbookstore.com

BC ID Cards and IT Student Account Information

You can obtain your BC Student Picture ID in our campus library. You can set up your Student Account information with IT Helpdesk located in K Wing. You'll need this information to login to campus computers, D2L (Virtual Campus), myBC and more.

You will need proof of payment or payment plan in order to obtain your student ID and account information.

Print Your Schedule

Make sure to have a print out of your schedule. You can request a print out from the cashier window with a photo ID or by accessing it through your myBC.

Don't forget to view your schedule through your myBC or BC connect app on the first day of classes for any changes (time, room, or instructor).
