Congratulations on your graduate's achievement of earning a college degree! Commencement is an event where we not only celebrate your graduate's achievement, but also acknowledge the support and guidance you've provided during your graduate's journey at Brazosport College. Below you will find information that could be helpful when attending our commencement ceremonies.

Ceremony

Doors will open one hour before the ceremony. The ceremony will be held at the Dow Academic Center.

Please Note: Once seating capacity is reached at the Dow Academic Center, guests will be directed to The Clarion where live commencement will be streamed.

Parking & Traveling to Brazosport College

Please keep in mind that traffic can become congested around the college on commencement day and trains frequently block the intersection of Old Angleton Road and College Blvd. Plan for delays and allow extra time for travel, parking and navigating the campus upon your arrival.

All guests should park in the Blue Lot in front of the Dow Academic Center. Red Lot parking will be reserved for special guests, staff and faculty.

Seating

Seating inside the commencement hall is first come, first served. Saving seats is not allowed. Once seating capacity is reached at the Dow Academic Center, guests will be directed to The Clarion where live commencement will be streamed.

Live Stream

The ceremonies will be streamed live (and will be later available to re-watch) on the Brazosport College YouTube page. You can also find the live stream on the commencement home page.
