Student success takes motivation, discipline, and communication. This is true no matter how you are taking a course, whether it be in a traditional classroom or on the Internet. Yet, taking a course on the Internet involves a brand new set of skills and knowledge you may not have experienced. This series of tutorials were created to assist you in becoming familiar with what these skill sets are and understand how to apply them in order to become more successful in your online courses.
Tutorials 1-6 focus on Skill development for new online students, while the remaining tutorials identify resources and strategies to assist the experienced online student with timely course completion. In addition to these we also have a Quick Start Guide for online students which lists helpful time, project & self-management tips.
Thank you to the California Community Colleges Online Education Initiative for providing permission to repurpose original readiness tutorials.
