The Clarion completes 2021 Summer Series of shows for kids

Tue Jul 20, 2021

Brazosport College recently completed the 2021 season of its popular Summer Children’s Series. This year’s shows featured music, magic, dancing and tons of fun for all in attendance.

Among this season’s artists were the Houston-based dance troupe Soul Street, which engaged the audience with a variety of highly entertaining dance techniques, and master magician Tommy Blaze. A 35-year veteran of magic and family entertainment, Blaze was substituting for Lanny Kibbey.

Also taking the stage this season were two musical groups — Tom’s Fun Band and Andyroo and the Andyrooniverse — and both artists had kids dancing in their seats and singing along to every song.

All four shows were held at The Clarion at Brazosport College.

Next up for The Clarion at Brazosport College is its 2021-22 Performance Season of shows, with country artist Sawyer Brown kicking off the new season on Oct. 16. Other artists slated to perform next season are Jose Feliciano, Tracy Byrd, Darryl Worley, Paul Shaffer and more.
