Enjoy a breathtaking trip to tropical Costa Rica through BC Community Education
Costa Rica’s Arenal Volcano
With lush forests, stunning waterfalls, exotic wildlife, endless coastlines and breathtaking mountainous landscapes, Costa Rica is truly a slice of paradise. Now, Brazosport College is providing an opportunity to see this magical destination firsthand.
Brazosport College Community Education’s Travel Program is currently offering an incredible nine-day trip to Costa Rica scheduled from March 10 through 18, 2018.
The tour has everything desired for a Costa Rican trip of a lifetime. A few of the highlights include:
— A cooking demonstration that reveals the unique flavors of Costa Rican culture.
— Relax and soak up the sights in the colorful capital city of San Jose.
— Discover the history of coffee in Costa Rica at the Doka Coffee Estate.
— Enjoy the breathtaking scenery surrounding Arenal Volcano.
— Spot indigenous wildlife while on a Cano Negro riverboat cruise.
— Learn about Costa Rica’s vegetation on a guided walk in the cloud forest.
— Climb high into the trees for a “Hanging Bridges” tour in the cloud forest.
— Discover the charming town of Zarcero and its whimsical topiary garden.
— Get to know Costa Rican culture in the picturesque town of Grecia.
These activities only scratch the surface of everything offered in this exclusive trip.
To learn more about this vacation, BC Community Education will be holding an information session at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, August 8 in Room B.110 on the Brazosport College campus. The session will have representatives discussing the program and answering questions. Opportunities will also be available to sign up for the trip.
