BC Day at the Mall to bring registration to students
Brazosport College Peer Recruiters, counselors, registration specialists and other staff members will be helping students register for fall classes on Aug. 19 at the food court in Brazos Mall. Brazosport College is making it easier than ever to register for fall classes.
Introducing its first-ever BC Day at the Mall event on Aug. 19, Brazosport College is giving potential students an opportunity to visit Brazos Mall in Lake Jackson and do a little shopping, enjoy the food court and register for BC classes at the same time.
BC Peer Recruiters, counselors, registration specialists and other staff members will be available at the mall food court to answer questions and assist students in registering for fall courses. College representatives will be available from 12 to 8 p.m.
“Our goal is to bring the campus to you,” said Brazosport College Marketing and Communications Director Kyle Smith. “This is a one-stop shop for all your needs when signing up for classes.”
Not only will students be able to register for classes during BC Day at the Mall, College representatives also will be available to help students fill out the FAFSA, go through online orientation, learn about payment options or speak to a counselor.
Information also will be available about BC’s newest student success initiative, Strive 2 Drive, in which students can be eligible to win prizes, including a new Honda Civic car.
While students will only be able to register at Brazos Mall on Aug. 19, open registration for fall classes will continue online and at the College through Aug. 25. Fall classes begin Aug. 28.
New students are not immediately eligible for online registration, but can start the registration process by applying at www.ApplyTexas.org. After the application process is completed, prospective students will be emailed a Student I.D. and a PIN number and can start the registration process.
