The Clarion at Brazosport College will open its annual Summer Children’s Series with a fun, magical show.

Magician Lanny Kibbey brings his kid’s-oriented comedy/magic show to the Clarion on Wednesday, June 23. Kibbey will take the stage at 10 a.m.

Kibbey is a Houston-based magician who tours across the United States with an interactive, age-appropriate show full of laughter, magic and fun. Robin Leech, host of the television show “Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous,” has seen Kibbey and considers him among the best.

“I have seen the very best in magical entertainment, all over the world … and the Magic Lanny Kibbey is world class,” Leech said.

Kibbey’s magic show will kick off the Clarion’s 2021 Summer Series. Programs are appropriate for children ages 4 through 12 and events are general seating. Other performers featured in this season’s series include Soul Street (June 30), Tom’s Fun Band (July 7) and Andyroo and the Andyrooniverse (July 14). All events are $5 per person.
