Sieben

The Brazosport College Department of Music is proud to present a piano recital by former BC student Ben Sieben at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, September 10 at The Clarion at Brazosport College.

Born and raised in Bay City, Sieben took his first college music courses at Brazosport College under Richard Birk, Rodney Mason and Brian Allen. His training at BC propelled him to complete an undergraduate degree at Houston Baptist University, followed by graduate school at the University of Utah.

Shifting his career focus to piano accompaniment and coaching, Sieben completed a master’s degree in Collaborative Piano from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2017. He is now an active collaborative pianist in Houston, working as a staff pianist for HBU, as well as accompanying for HGOco, Operativo, and many individual artists in the Houston area.

Sieben is a frequent player with Classical Revolution Houston — a small collective of chamber musicians — and serves as a pianist and consultant for Aspiring Artists of Texas.

Admission to the recital is free and no tickets are required. For more information, call the Clarion Box Office at (979) 230-3156.
