Community Education's Couples Cooking Class is a perfect Valentine’s Day treat

Mon Jan 11, 2021

Just in time for Valentine’s Day, Brazosport College’s Community Education Department is offering a culinary class with an emphasis on having a romantic night out.

With its Heart-to-Heart Couples Cooking Class, BC Community Education is giving participants an opportunity to treat their significant other to an early Valentine’s Day gift. Couples not only get to prepare a delicious meal together, they also complete the evening with a candlelight dinner while enjoying conversations with new friends.

The class will be taught by Debbie Warren, a professional chef with more than 35 years of experience cooking and entertaining for large groups.

Participants have the choice of two class dates — Thursday, Jan. 28 or Thursday, Feb. 11. The cost is $85 per person and the class will be held in Community Education’s demonstration kitchen on the Brazosport College campus. Please contact the BC Community Education Department if you will be bringing libations.

The Heart-to-Heart Couples Cooking Class is only one of a variety of upcoming hands-on culinary courses offered by BC Community Education. Also available are culinary cooking bundles, which include cake decorating (Jan. 23 and Feb. 27), cookie decorating (March 30 and April 27) and the “Let’s Get Cooking” Italian Dinner and Cinco de Mayo bundle (March 25 and April 22).

The use of face masks/coverings and other safety precautions will be in place during this semester’s courses.

For more information or to register for any of these classes, contact BC Community Education at www.brazosport.edu/ce or call (979) 230-3600.
