The music keeps playing at The Clarion at Brazosport College’s Summer Children’s Series on Wednesday, July 3 with an appearance by Latin Grammy-winning duo 123 Andrés.

Andrés and Christina, better known as 123 Andrés, are known for their joyful sounds, passion for bilingualism and high-energy love of music that gets kids singing and dancing in both Spanish and English. The show will begin at 10 a.m.

The duo has released numerous albums, including the their dual-language album, “Arriba Abajo,” which won the Latin Grammy for Best Children’s Album in 2016. Among their recent performances are shows at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. and the Tennessee Performing Arts Center in Nashville, Tenn., as well as international shows in Puerto Rico, Panama and Colombia.

“Billboard” magazine said that Andrés and Christina are “Latin Children Music Artists you should know … a rockstar for little language learners,” while NPR said 123 Andrés is “very innovative, very creative … uses this great melodic sense to play music that our smaller kids will appreciate and learn.”

This will be the third time 123 Andrés has performed at Brazosport College. One of the past performances was a festive showcase during the College’s 50th anniversary celebration last year.

After the July 3 performance by 123 Andrés, only three more shows will remain in this year’s Summer Children’s Series. Next up will be Andyroo and the Andyrooniverse on July 10, followed by the AD Players’ performance of “The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe” on July 17 and Soul Street on July 24.
