Required Documentation

Brazosport College will need official documents for the Highest Level of Education Completed.
College Transfers:
Please provide Brazosport College with Official Transcripts from ALL previous colleges.
Official Transcripts may be accepted via:
  • SPEEDE (electronic transcript system)
  • Parchment (electronic or mailed transcript system)
  • Mail in a sealed
  • or Hand Carried in a Sealed Envelope
High School Graduates:
Please submit your Official High School Transcript with a Graduation Date.
Official Transcript can be accepted via:
  • TREX electronic transcript system
  • Mail in a Sealed Envelope
  • or Hand Carried in a Sealed Envelope

High School Equivalency Students (HiSET/TxCHSE/GED):

Please provide your High School Equivalency transcript or verification to the Admissions Office. If you received your High School Equivalency in Texas you may print a verification.

Bacterial Meningitis Vaccine

There is Bacterial Meningitis Vaccination requirement that applies to anyone under the age of 22 attending classes on Brazosport College Campus. For detailed information refer to the Bacterial Meningitis Page.

Students who are currently 22 years of age or older by the first day of the start of the semester in which you enroll are not required to provide the Bacterial Meningitis Vaccine.

Submit Placement Test Scores

Upon entering Brazosport College all degree seeking students are required to take the TSI placement test, or meet an exemption. The purpose of the examination is to  assess a student's academic ability in order to correctly identify the correct course sequence for new students. The TSI Assessment will determine your entry-level for the subjects of reading, writing, and math. To learn more about the TSI placement test refer to the Pre-Assessment Activity or contact the Assessment Center at (979) 230-3000.

To assist students in achieving their goals, counselors and academic advisors are available to help students with their degree plans. With a plan in place, students are more likely to achieve their goals. For more information please refer to the Counseling/Testing Page. We recommend meeting with an advisor as soon as possible.

Attend New Student Orientation
