After careful consideration, along with guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Texas Department of State Health Services, the delivery format of courses has changed for the Fall 2020 semester. These changes help promote physical distancing and reduce contact among students, faculty, and staff.

NOTICE OF PROPOSED NO-NEW-TAX RATE

The proposed tax rate is not greater than the no-new-revenue tax rate. This means that BRAZOSPORT COLLEGE DISTRICT is not proposing to increase property taxes for the 2020 tax year.

THIS TAX RATE WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR'S TAX RATE. THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 3.19%AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $7.
