The
national SBDC Network provides business consulting at
NO-COST to help business
owners develop management strategies, attract customers, increase
sales,
increase productivity and improve profitability. Our consultants
have extensive practical experience in varied fields, including
marketing, finance, accounting, retail operations and business
management. Most have been business owners themselves, and many have
advanced degrees.
Each center specializes in the types of businesses found in their
local communities.
Small
businesses need different types of assistance during their lifetime.
On a daily basis, certified consultants primarily assist businesses
(for-profit) in handling cash flow problems, developing sound
accounting practices, evaluating marketing materials, packaging loan
proposals, addressing human resources management, examining retail
