Brazosport College is a comprehensive college offering both associate degrees and a bachelor of applied technology degree.  Since its inception in 1968, Brazosport College’s enrollment has grown to approximately 4,000 credit students per semester and 10,000+ non-credit students per year.  Brazosport College graduates approximately 200 students annually and is the key provider of a well-trained workforce to employers in Brazoria County. 

 
   

 THE BRAZOSPORT COMMUNITY

   

Brazosport is a multi-city community approximately 50 miles south of Houston, the Brazosport Area is comprised of nine cities: Brazoria, Clute, Freeport, Jones Creek, Lake Jackson, Oyster Creek, Quintana, Richwood, and Surfside Beach. Each city is separate and individually governed but culturally entwined as a single community with a combined population of approximately 72,000.

Home of the largest basic chemical complex in the world, the primary economic base of Brazosport includes chemical manufacturing, petrochemical processing, deep-water port activities, tourism, and commercial fishing. This area along the Gulf Coast comprises the majority of the commercial and industrial development of South Texas.
