Neil Diamond tribute show coming to the Clarion on Sept 5
Experience the look and feel of one of the world’s most well-known musical artists when Neil Diamond tribute artist Keith Allynn brings his popular Branson, Missouri show to Lake Jackson.
Allynn and his show, “A Neil Diamond Tribute,” will be at The Clarion at Brazosport College on Saturday, Sept. 5. Showtime is at 7:30 p.m.
The 90-minute, non-stop production tells the story of Diamond's life through his songs, spanning from 1960 through today. Sing along to favorites, such as "Cherry Cherry," "Cracklin' Rosie," "America," "Solitary Man," "Play Me," Love on the Rocks," "Song Sung Blue," "Sweet Caroline," and many, many more.
Allynn has entertained audiences for more than 23 years. At the tender age of 14, he began his career in stand-up comedy as the warm-up comedian for such acts as Robin Williams, Chris Rock and Tim Allen.
At age 21, he discovered his musical talents, performing an Elvis Presley song during a karaoke session. The crowd went crazy and he was hooked. For the next several years, Allynn performed and competed as an Elvis tribute artist. In 2004, Graceland declared Allynn as one of the top 10 Elvis tribute artists in the world.
Allynn began his transition to a Neil Diamond tribute artist by wooing his future bride. He won your heart and a new career began.
Tickets for the Sept. 5 show at the Clarion are $35 for adults, $30 for seniors and $10 for children. Tickets can be purchased online at https://clarionboxoffice.brazosport.edu.
