Lanny Kibbey brings magical entertainment to the Clarion
Brazosport College began its annual summer series of children-oriented matinee shows with an astonishing performance from magician Lanny Kibbey at The Clarion at Brazosport College.
Kibbey, a master magician from Houston, amazed kids and adults alike with his magic while, at the same time, kept everyone in stitches with his unique brand of humor.
For those who missed Kibbey’s show, there is still time to beat the heat and enjoy a Clarion Summer Matinee Series show. Four shows remain in the series, with performances ranging from educational and comedy acts to dancing and singing.
Next up is Mad Science’s science show at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 13. Other artists in this year’s summer series are Tom’s Fun Band on July 20, Soul Street on Aug. 3 and the Morris Brothers on Aug. 10.
Tickets for the performances range from $4 to $8 per person and are currently on sale. Please call the Clarion Box Office at (979) 230-3156 to make reservations for your group. All programs are recommended for children ages 4 through 14 years old.
