Brazosport College recently hosted its annual Counselor/Administrator Dinner at the Dow Academic Center, with administrators from Angleton, Brazosport, Columbia-Brazoria and Sweeny independent school districts in attendance. The dinner celebrated the partnership between the local school districts and Brazosport College.
Among the evening’s presentations, Dr. Lynda Villanueva, Brazosport College Vice President, Academic & Student Affairs and Jeff Detrick, Brazosport College Dean of Instruction, provided an overview of one of the College’s new programs, Guided Pathways.
Two dual-credit Brazosport College students — Jacob Pate from Columbia High School and Hannah Martin from Angleton High School — also spoke on the benefits of participating in the college’s dual-credit program while still in high school.
