Brazosport College recently celebrated Halloween with some spooky fun that everyone could participate in.

Hosted by the College’s Office of Student Life, this year’s Pumpkin Palooza event featured a pumpkin decorating contest, treat bags and plenty of free hot dogs. Participants were also encouraged to design and paint their own pumpkins at decorating stations.

The event, which was held in the Student Pavilion, was a hit with students, faculty and staff, as 16 pumpkins were entered in the pumpkin decorating contest. Earning the first-place award, decided by audience votes, was the BC Health Department’s elaborate portrayal of a pumpkin in labor.
