Thanks to the assistance of its students and staff, Brazosport College has a strong presence at this year’s Brazoria County Fair in Angleton.
The college helped kicked off the fair on Saturday by participating in the popular annual parade through the streets of Angleton. The school’s float, which was manned with BC students, was organized and created by the college’s Peer Recruiters.
Brazosport College also has a booth at the fair, located in booth 32 in the commercial exhibit hall. The booth is manned until 10 p.m. all week with BC representatives available to answer questions about the college.
“The Brazoria County Fair is a highly-respected tradition in our area and provides us a good opportunity to interact with our community about the benefits of attending Brazosport College,” said BC Marketing Director Kyle Smith. “Another perk of the fair is we get to hear so many success stories from former students on how our college has impacted their lives and careers.”
The Brazoria County Fair opens at 10 a.m. and runs through Saturday, Oct. 19. For more information about Brazosport College, call 979.230.3000 or visit www.brazosport.edu .
